In 1965 Larry Thomason purchased this ’62 Plymouth Sport Fury to serve as his daily driver. It didn’t take long before he decided to take his Fury to the local drag strip and have some fun. Eventually Larry took his car off the street and turned it into a full time race car. 
With cars that are recognizable as factory originals, doing big wheel stands and having flashy paint schemes, Super Stock is without a doubt a favorite class of race fans. It’s also Don and Cathy Bevers favorite class to race in.
