“Hot Rod” Fuller’s nickname suits him just fine!  When Rod Fuller came back to Top Fuel in the second half of the season in 2005, he wowed the crowd and delighted his fans by making three final round appearances, one which earned him his first Top Fuel victory, and finishing in the POWERade Top 10 despite only running 15 races!
2006 proved to be equally exciting when he won the second race of the season at Phoenix defeating the heavily favored, Melanie Troxel.  He went on to earn two No. 1 qualifying positions, St. Louis and Memphis, Posted runner-up finishes at Bristol, Dallas and Richmond, clocked career-best performance for speed at Chicago, 330.96mph, and raced to victory again in Englishtown which set his place in the POWERade Top 10 points finish!
