Another exciting year of explosive growth is upon us in diesel
motorsports. Diesel Hot Rod Association offers drag racing and sled
pulling point’s series with a collective purse of $167,000! The series
boasts over 500 racers and pullers
competing on the weekends for thousands of diesel fans across the
nation. 2007’s schedule will certainly keep the dedicated dieselhead
busy with 20 races and pulls, including three national events. Also new
for 2007, DHRA takes the
DieselPower! Additives Drag Racing out west. David Dunbar, DHRA’s
Director of Competition, says “diesel hot rodders have wanted DHRA out
west for years, and we are ecstatic that we can finally provide a racing
series just for them. This
really helps expand the sport, DHRA’s presence in the industry, and
validates diesels in motorsports.”
