INTRODUCING THE FIRST RESEALABLE
ENERGY DRINK NOS® 22OZ. PLASTIC BOTTLE
Limited
Edition Bottle Over Caps Deliver an Uncanny Resemblance to Holley
Performance Nitrous Oxide Canisters
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ, November 27, 2006—NOS High Performance Energy
Drink, named after the most recognized brand in nitrous oxide—Nitrous
Oxide Systems—is now available in a 22oz. plastic, resealable bottle.
Celebrating its debut as the first truly resealable 22oz. PET bottle in
the category, bottles with promotional NOS valve over caps will hit
store shelves in December of 2006. The valve over cap is a limited time
package and will only be available on the first 50,000 cases.
Brand Director at High Performance Beverage Company, Michael Fine, said
packages larger than the 16oz. size are exploding in sales growth and he
expects the larger size to quickly move up the sales ladder in the
energy drink category. “With 22 ounces and above, resealability becomes
an issue. Consumers are taking these packages for longer periods of time
and in more places. Now that NOS is resealable, consumers can have their
boost anytime and bring it with them anywhere.”
Packing the most power per ounce, NOS is now available in three sizes:
16oz. cans, 11oz. and 22oz. plastic bottles. Since its debut in October
2005, NOS (16oz. can) quickly took the lead and currently ranks 9th out
of the top 70 energy drink SKUs. With a fully integrated marketing
campaign aimed at automotive enthusiasts and core energy drink
consumers, NOS has been targeting key car culture lifestyle events
throughout the year. “This type of exposure, coupled with our Team NOS
motor sports sponsorships, has propelled NOS into one of the most
recognizable energy drinks in the industry,” said Fine.
“Utilizing some of nature’s most powerful energy producing ingredients,
NOS allows you to ‘turn-it-on’ and ‘go faster’ … no matter what you’re
racing for,” said Fine. “The awesome mango passionfruit flavor delivers
on taste and the large 22oz. plastic bottle has the shape closer to the
NOS canister. This package will truly be one of the most unique to the
category.” The 22oz. bottle is priced at $2.79 suggested retail.
The NOS beverage includes powerful and healthy ingredients such as:
Taurine, Ginseng, D-Ribose, L-Carnitine, Folic Acid and Vitamins C, B6
and B12. (In fact, NOS has not 100% but 140% of Vitamins C, B6 and B12.)
High Performance Beverage Company and Holley Performance Products
