Team Husky to debut new look
at Performance World
BURLINGTON, ONTARIO (March 7, 2007) – One
of the major highlights at this year’s Performance World Custom Car and Truck
Show will be the Team Husky/Kopp Motorsports/Husky Tools display.

The Burlington-based drag racing team will debut
not only a new car, but an entirely new image at the popular auto show at
Toronto’s International Center.
“Along with an entirely new car, we’ve got new graphics,
new colors, even new uniforms,” said team manager and driver Rick Kopp. “This is
a brand new look for Kopp Motorsports.”
Kopp will debut the new Team Husky Top Dragster at
Performance World, just finished in time for the three-day show. Based on a
265-inch long dragster chassis with a new supercharged ERD Rodeck-type engine of
about 2200 horsepower in the 1700-pound car, Kopp’s new car will be just part of
the large display. Team Husky’s Shawna Woudstra will be on hand with her Junior
Dragster along with the rest of the team.
The race cars will enhance the over 1000-square foot display which will
highlight the team and sponsor Husky Tools. Visitors to the display will be able
to view the entire line of top-quality Husky tools, and take advantage of the
show specials. Normally sold only through Home Depot stores, this will be a
great opportunity to purchase Husky tools.

Performance World will be held March 9, 10, and 11 at the
International Center at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga, ON. For times,
directions, and admission prices, go to

Stop by the Team Husky booth to not only meet with the Team Husky racers,
but get a rare opportunity to pick up some great Husky tools.
The Team Husky Top Dragster will run at several drag race events for 2007,
including several IHRA eMax Nitro Jam™ Drag Racing Series events. The team will
also be a highlight at several Home Depot locations as part of the Team Husky
promotional tour across Ontario.
Owned and operated by Rick Kopp of Burlington, ON, Kopp Motorsports fields
a Top Dragster class car in drag racing events, including several in
International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) competition. For 2007, Kopp has stepped
up his racing efforts significantly with a new chassis and engine. With the
support of Husky Tool, Matcom Industrial Installations, and Eclipse Imaging,
Kopp plans to be a dominant force in racing this season under the Team Husky
banner. For more information, visit
