ROCKINGHAM, North Carolina (October
21, 2006) – Carl Spiering secured third position in the Eaton

Carolina.

“We made three solid qualifying
runs in the Eaton Road Warrior this weekend,” said Carl Spiering. “In the first
lap of qualifying on Friday we ran 6.084-seconds at 234.00 mph. That was pretty
stout, but then we backed it up today with 6.047-second 235.97-mph pass in the
second qualifier and then we ripped a 6.036 seconds at 232.99-mph on the final
run of qualifying.”
The Carl Spiering
Motorsports entry will face number eleven qualifier Eddie Ware from Marietta, GA and his 1967 Camaro in the first round of
the final eliminations on Sunday starting at 11:00 a.m.
EST.
“I’m proud of my
team, the guys have worked hard all year and never gave up,” added Spiering, the
41-year old driver from Jordan Station, Ontario. “We’ve had some bad luck this season
and we all want to finish things off with a
win.”
