This week at Kalitta Motorsports –
Top Fueler Hillary Will appears tonight on the NBC game show Identity
If you saw Hillary Will in a setting besides the racetrack, would you be
able to guess her identity? Millions of television viewers will have
their chance Friday at 8 p.m. ET, when Will appears as a panel member on
the NBC game show Identity with Emmy award-winning comedian-magician
Penn Jillette, the host of the program.
Identity is the ultimate game of who's who, where keen perception and
instincts can lead to a top prize of $500,000. The amount of money a
contestant accumulates increases with each correctly identified panel
member. If all 12 are matched, the player is rewarded with the grand
prize of $500,000.
In each new game, one contestant faces 12 panel members and a list of 12
traits to identify them. The contestant picks a trait -- ranging from a
profession to a shoe size -- and tries to match it with one of the 12
strangers.
"I was really excited when the NBC producers contacted me to be on their
game show as a professional drag racer," said Will. "They told me that
the show drew over 12 million viewers in its premiere in December. I
think this is great exposure for our sport. I'm a big advocate of
getting NHRA POWERade Drag Racing into the mainstream. Once people find
out what our sport is all about, they love it and are immediately
hooked. I think that doing things like this show will spark curiosity
and increase our fan base."
